Kiryat Adam
Kiryat Adam was established in 2016 in the city of Lod, out of a deep commitment to the city’s unique, complex reality and its residents. The center was founded by Anatta Foundation (NGO) in partnership with the Lod Municipality, the Lod Development Foundation (NGO), and the Israeli Association for Self Psychology and the Study of Subjectivity (NGO), Anatta also funds the foundation.
Kiryat Adam is a center for learning, assessment, and treatment dedicated to human beings: the individual in relation to their inner world, their loved ones and their local community. Rooted in Lod, the center was created to provide attentive, meaningful support to the city’s residents and the wider region. In addition, it serves as a leading professional hub in the psychological field—for individuals, the community, education and welfare systems, nonprofit organizations, and all those working to support human well-being, including children, youth, and adults.
Lod is a multicultural city that reflects the full spectrum of Israeli society—Arab and Jewish residents, religious and secular communities of all faiths, ethnicities, and backgrounds living side by side. But alongside this socio-cultural richness, the city also faces social divides, complexity, and significant challenges.
For the past decade, Kiryat Adam has served as a professional and community anchor in the heart of Lod and its surrounding area, providing a broad clinical framework for the city's children and their families, while also serving as a nurturing professional home for local therapists.

The Treatment Center
Kiryat Adam is a leading treatment center for children and a unique educational hub in the city of Lod, providing professional mental health services to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults from the city and surrounding area.
The center works to strengthen the community through a wide range of personalized therapies, assessments, and guidance services delivered by a multidisciplinary and culturally diverse team. Alongside its clinical work, Kiryat Adam also serves as a home for professional training, supervision, and ongoing learning for therapists and students, in partnership with local welfare and educational institutions.
Educational Center
Kiryat Adam's Educational Center offers advanced training programs for mental health professionals. These include training in psychotherapy informed by Self Psychology, as well as the Human Spirit program in psychoanalytic-Buddhist training. Together, these programs integrate theoretical depth, clinical practice, and the cultivation of the spiritual dimension within the therapeutic work.

A Spotlight in the Public Sphere
The World Peace Bell Association was founded after World War II with the aim of promoting cooperation and fellowship among nations and cultures through the placement of “Peace Bells” around the world. Japan presented the United Nations with the first bell in 1954, a bell cast from coins collected from representatives of dozens of countries as a symbol of global unity.
In recent years, through Eytan Stibbe's initiative, the 24th Peace Bell was brought to Israel and installed in Lod—a city that symbolizes coexistence amongst its diverse communities. The organization awards the "Peace Bell Prize" to communities advancing peace and regional development. Every year, on the International Day of Peace (21 September), Peace Bells ring across the globe as a symbol of hope and commitment to world peace.
