Academia
The Forum for Law, Gender and Social Policy, led by Professor Noya Rimalt and Professor Shulamit Almog, serves as an academic platform for advancing research, teaching, and public policy development on issues of gender inequality. The forum aims to spearhead the formulation of a gender-focused public agenda, with particular emphasis on law as a central tool for driving reforms that empower women and promote gender equality in Israel.
The forum’s work bridges raising awareness with practical action. In the academic sphere, it identifies barriers within the legal system that delay or prevent progress, and develops innovative ways to address them through interdisciplinary teaching and research. Beyond academia, the forum works to spread knowledge amongst decision-makers. It strives to play an active role in shaping public policy in the field of gender equality and advances projects centered on connecting theory with feminist practice.
Anatta Foundation has supported the forum's work since 2020, enabling it to significantly expand its reach and public visibility.
