The Sexual Assault Crisis Center, HaSharon has been operating for over four decades supporting survivors of sexual assault and their families, providing them with practical and emotional assistance throughout the stages of struggle and recovery. The center offers support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year—free of charge—through trained volunteers who undergo comprehensive professional preparation. Services include an emergency hotline, an anonymous online chat, personal and legal accompaniment, support groups, and rehabilitation programs
In addition to its direct support services, the center runs an extensive array of educational, outreach, and prevention programs aimed at reducing the prevalence of sexual violence and creating long-term social change. These activities include psycho-educational workshops for youth in both formal and informal educational settings, training programs for healthcare professionals, welfare, and geriatrics, and initiatives to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace
Anatta Foundation has supported the center since 2020. This support focuses on two key initiatives
1202KolMila Service – An anonymous and discreet support platform for teenagers and young adults experiencing sexual harm. The service provides immediate emotional support, non-judgmental listening, and referral to professional care providers. It plays a life-saving role by reducing the time between the experiencing of harm and seeking help, and enables ongoing support including clinical and legal assistance
Voice of Summer Project – An anonymous chat platform for teenagers dealing with issues of healthy sexuality and adolescence, the first of its kind in Israel. Its aim is to encourage open, accessible, and safe dialogue on issues of identity, sexuality, and relationships. The project helps young people make informed decisions, reduce high-risk behaviors, and prevent repeated sexual harm
