The Next Generation Foundation was established by leaders of Israel’s high-tech and entrepreneurial sectors with the goal of connecting teenagers and young adults to the Israeli story and to a shared future. The organization is chaired by Shirley Rimon-Brakha, former head of the Education Administration of Tel Aviv–Jaffa. The foundation operational vision combines love of country and connection to Jewish heritage with social commitment, mutual accountability, and the creation of broad common ground within Israeli society. Its programs are built around formative experiences and meaningful moments of growth that deepen participants’ sense of belonging, responsibility, and commitment to the future of the state and society.

The organization runs several educational tracks for high school students and post-military young adults, including a program for twelfth-grade students in leading schools across Israel, guidance programs for young adults post military service, and a unique Boost model that expands access to the pre-military preparatory experience. The foundation is also establishing Next Generation Centers — activity centers and glamping sites for young adults that combine educational experiences with quality nature-based lodging, while fostering values and community building.

The organization works in partnership with a broad range of youth movements, educational institutions, and content organizations in order to create deep, empowering, and relevant engagement for young people in Israel.
