Kfar Izun is a unique, pioneering therapeutic and rehabilitative village—the first of its kind in Israel and the world. The village serves as a recovery community for individuals aged 18–40 experiencing life crises and dealing with substance abuse alongside mental health challenges (“dual diagnosis”). Most come from normative, functional backgrounds.

The uniqueness of Kfar Izun lies in its holistic approach, which integrates treatment theories from both Western and Eastern traditions, within an open, healing environment by the sea—offering a warm, supportive, and compassionate atmosphere. Studies indicate exceptionally high success rates of treatment at the village, exceeding 90%.
